BARREL RACING CLINIC
Hosted by Blaine Liedtke in Palmer Rapids Sunday April 19th at 12:00 noon
Blaine will share his experience with us and coach us on our own horses on running the Barrel Pattern.
At the end of the coaching session there will be a timed competition with prize money so we can show off our improved
skills. This is a Rocky Hills event and is a fundraiser for one of our Western Gaming Shows planned for later
this
season.
The cost for Rocky Hills Members is $25. For non members the cost is $35 and there will also be a a
day fee of $10. The fee for the clinic
includes the the cost of the competition. Blaine is very generously donating his time and
facility for
this event in an effort to fundraise and promote our future Gaming shows. There are limited spots for this event, so it is
necessary to sign up and pay in advance. If you wish to attend or have any questions please contact Susan Rutledge at 613-339-9970
Payment can be made to Susan at work (Birds Creek Feed & Hardware) or home or to Melanie Cressman at
Halladay's Equine Services. Please make payment in cash as a portion will be used as prize money for the competition.
PS - There are Western Gaming Shows planned for May 24, June 28, July12 and Sept 20. Locations to be announced.

Darren Bilyea is quickly rising through the ranks
of the Ontario Reining Horse Association, riding the
stallion "Ruff up My Chex" and other fine horses
under his guidance at both ORHA & NRHA shows.
Here is a short list of his accomplishments -
- 2007 NRHA Rookie Professional
(TOP TEN 3RD place in world)
- 2007 AQHA World Show Qualifier
- 2006 AQHA High Point Champion Limited Open
(Reining/Working Cowhorse)
- Multiple ORHA Championships

He has graciously offered to come north from his
home near London Ontario to do this clinic and
